Battle for Terra is a 3D animated movie with a fascinating twist on an old sci-fi genre. There have been many alien invasion films over the years, but very few feature humans as the invading aliens. The characters in the film are forced to choose sides in the conflict, as is the viewer, a fact which on its own sets this film apart from most animated kids' fare.
