Planet 51 is an inoffensive and insubstantial kids movie that is really only worth your money as a 2 hour babysitter. Alien invasion parodies seem to be a dime a dozen these days, and this new entry adds nothing substantial to the formula. Ostensibly the big gimmick in Planet 51 is that, get this, we're the invading aliens! They're afraid of us!
